This is our yearly one-day perennial sale. We have Purple Cone, Black-Eyed Susan, Hostas, Geum (Prairie Smoke), Iris (many kinds), Coral Bell (Palace Purple), Sedum (Autumn Joy), Blackberry Lily, Day Lily (Orange, Burgundy), Bell Flower, Ferns,
Solomon Seal, Lily of the Valley, Bleeding Heart, Yellow Primrose, Bachelor Button, Virginia Blue Bells, White Aster, Pasque Flower, Cannas (green and dark leaf), White Anemone (Wind Flower), Columbine, Rattlesnake Master and assorted others.
This year we are featuring our "Smouthi" peonies. This is one of the oldest known herbaceous peony hybrids, dating to xxxx France. It is a cross of the Fern peony and the more fragrant peony species.
It blooms early, normally around Mother's Day and never needs staking. The single, cupped red blooms are very fragrant.
We also have a few Fern Peonies left over from last year.
Most plants are priced in the $2-$4 range. The Fern Peonies are $30, while the "Smouthi" Peonies will be $15.
All the plants are grown in our yard.
